Growing up, I didn’t see many dolls, cartoons, or clothing showcasing girls that looked like me. When I became a mom and had my daughters, we celebrated that there was Princess Tiana and Doc McStuffins as more of a representation of what my girls looked like, but that wasn’t enough.

The desire to want all girls of color to have the same excitement my girls had seeing Princess Tiana and Doc McStuffins for the first time inspired me to create the PERFECTLY YOU line of pajamas and spa for girls of color.
